Miluna was founded in 2018 by Jacobo de Llanza, Alejandro Bosch and Victor Messa, 3 young Spanish entrepreneurs, and consists of an exclusive and original hotel in nature one hour from Madrid. ‘We wanted to do something different. Something we would like to share. something that made us disconnect from the stress of the city and at the same time could fill us with vitality with different activities. And we created Miluna.’ -said the founders. Its 8 spherical rooms, called ‘moons’, are located in a unique place, isolated from noise and pollution. A secluded spot with panoramic views of the sky. A telescope, books and a lunar calendar are available for guests to use on-site to make the experience even more special. According to its founders, they plan to expand the number of moons to 12 in the coming months. Triumph at the GriNN Awards Miluna has also won two other GrINN awards, Best Reforestation Initiative and Best Sustainable Initiative. The triumph has come to them thanks to putting sustainability at the heart of the business. Since the beginning of their journey, they have planted more than 500 trees in the hotel grounds and have supported local producers and artisans, contributed to social projects and reduced their carbon footprint, among many other sustainable practices.
