In an age of information overload, finding the right resources and tools is a pain point for many people who want to build a startup, but don’t know where to begin. Startup Guide’s platform unveils a new approach to learning the key steps of building a viable startup.

As the fundamental nature of work continues to change, more and more people are looking to independent work for opportunities. By 2020, more than 40% of the US workforce will be independent workers, according to a study by software company Intuit. With that in mind, Startup Guide built its platform to help aspiring entrepreneurs and founders jumpstart their path to success by offering top notch resources, powerful tracking tools and local expert advice, all in one place – and for free.

“We will be using our first external investment to scale Startup Guide’s platform.”

“We will be using our first external investment to scale Startup Guide’s platform so that users around the world will have everything they need to build a viable startup and shape their own future, all at their fingertips”, said Sissel Hansen, CEO and founder of Startup Guide. “Today’s platform launch is a significant step toward Startup Guide’s aim to build a comprehensive set of content and tools to allow people to turn their startup idea into a reality easier and quicker.”

Startup Guide’s platform is a result of many years of painstaking research and more than 1000 interviews with startups, experts and investors. With the help of the local startup community, the platform will be rolled out city by city. The aim is to have it available in at least 10 cities within a year and a half. The Startup Guide platform beta is currently open for sign-ups.

Editor’s note: Startup Guide’s mission is to inspire and empower people around the world to transform their startup ideas into reality through city-centric content and tools. Today, Startup Guide books are in 17 different cities in Europe and the Middle East, including Berlin, London, Tel Aviv, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Vienna, Lisbon and Paris. It also has two physical stores in Berlin and Lisbon to promote and sell products by startups. Startup Guide is a 20-person team based in Berlin and Lisbon. Don’t miss the launch of Startup Guide Luxembourg in 2018.
